Description

A deliciously creamy chicken pasta made in a crockpot that’s easy enough for a lazy day but tastes gourmet.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breasts
  • 2 cups pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a crockpot, add the chicken breasts, chicken broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. Cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is cooked through.
  3. Remove the chicken, shred it, and return it to the crockpot.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream and pasta, mixing well.
  5. Cook on high for another 30 minutes or until the pasta is tender.
  6. Stir in the Parmesan cheese before serving and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

Do not rush the cooking time, and make sure to shred the chicken well for flavor distribution.
