Ingredients
- 8 oz pasta (any type)
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions; add the broccoli for the last 3 minutes of cooking. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in the garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Gradually add the cheddar cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.
- Toss the cooked pasta and broccoli in the cheese sauce until evenly coated. Serve hot.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat with a splash of heavy cream to revive creaminess.
