- 1 lb beef sirloin or tenderloin, sliced into thin strips
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 3 tbsp flour
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Noodles or rice for serving
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onions and garlic, sauté until translucent, stirring to prevent browning.
- Add sliced beef and cook until browned, working in batches if needed.
- Stir in mushrooms and cook until softened and slightly colored.
- Sprinkle flour over the mixture and stir well to coat.
- Slowly pour in beef broth, stirring continuously, then bring to a simmer until thickened.
- Reduce heat and stir in sour cream until well combined, warming gently.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve hot over noodles or rice.
