Ingredients
- 1 lb beef strips
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 oz egg noodles
- Parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Toss in the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until the onion becomes translucent.
- Add the beef strips to the skillet. Cook until browned.
- Stir in the sliced mushrooms and cook until they are tender.
- Sprinkle flour over the mixture and stir to combine.
- Gradually add the beef broth, stirring continuously and bring to a simmer until the sauce thickens.
- Reduce heat and stir in the sour cream, mixing until combined.
- Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions, then drain.
- Serve the beef stroganoff over the egg noodles and garnish with parsley.
