Description

A creamy and comforting beef stroganoff made easy for busy days, perfect when paired with egg noodles.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef strips
  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • Parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Toss in the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until the onion becomes translucent.
  2. Add the beef strips to the skillet. Cook until browned.
  3. Stir in the sliced mushrooms and cook until they are tender.
  4. Sprinkle flour over the mixture and stir to combine.
  5. Gradually add the beef broth, stirring continuously and bring to a simmer until the sauce thickens.
  6. Reduce heat and stir in the sour cream, mixing until combined.
  7. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions, then drain.
