Description

A quick and creamy beef pasta recipe that satisfies your cravings without much effort.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tsp olive oil for sautéing

Instructions

  1. Cook the penne according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant (about 5 minutes).
  3. Add ground beef, breaking it apart until browned (about 7 minutes). Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Lower the heat and stir in heavy cream, adding reserved pasta water to adjust the sauce consistency.
  5. Gradually mix in grated Parmesan cheese until melted.
  6. Toss in the cooked pasta, mixing until coated in sauce.
  7. Serve hot, optionally garnishing with additional Parmesan or fresh parsley.

Notes

Avoid overcooking the pasta and make sure to reserve the pasta water for a creamy sauce.
