Description
A rich and creamy tortellini dish with seared steak and aromatic garlic.
Ingredients
- 20 oz cheese tortellini
- 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Garlic powder
- Smoked paprika
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp butter
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup whole milk
- 1 1/4 cups parmesan, shredded or freshly grated
- Parsley, chopped (optional)
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
- Cracked black pepper (optional garnish)
Instructions
- Boil water in a large pot and cook the tortellini according to package instructions.
- Season steak with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steak for 4-5 minutes on each side.
- Transfer steak to a plate and let it rest.
- In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds.
- Add butter, heavy cream, and whole milk, stirring to combine.
- Gradually stir in parmesan cheese until melted.
- Drain tortellini and mix with the creamy sauce.
- Slice the rested steak and serve on top of the tortellini. Garnish with parsley if desired.

For extra flavor, consider adding spinach or sun-dried tomatoes.
