A creamy, cheesy pasta bake combining shredded chicken, ranch seasoning, and crispy bacon, perfect for family dinners or gatherings.
Ingredients
- 8 oz penne or rotini pasta
- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
- 1 package ranch seasoning mix
- 1 cup softened cream cheese
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup crumbled bacon
- ½ cup chopped green onions
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes; drain and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine the chicken, ranch seasoning mix, cream cheese, chicken broth, and 1 cup of cheddar cheese; mix until well combined.
- Gently fold in the cooked pasta, bacon, and green onions until well coated.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of cheddar cheese over the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For a vegetarian option, substitute chicken with sautéed bell peppers and mushrooms. Serve with garlic bread or a side salad for a complete meal.
