Description

A quick and creamy chicken penne dish that combines comfort and flavor without spending too much time in the kitchen.

Ingredients

  • 2 pieces Boneless and skinless Chicken Breast
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Basil
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 12 oz Penne Pasta
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1/2 cup Freshly grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the penne according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. While the pasta is cooking, season chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano, and basil.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the seasoned chicken and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest. In the same skillet, add the butter and melt.
  5. Slowly pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  6. Reduce heat, add the parmesan cheese, and stir until melted.
  7. Slice the chicken and return it to the skillet along with the drained pasta. Mix until pasta is coated.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. If you want a veggie version, substitute chicken for tofu or chickpeas and use coconut milk instead of heavy cream.
