Description

A comforting one-bowl meal combining rich flavors of garlic butter and ground beef over fluffy rice.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned and no longer pink, about 6-8 minutes.
  2. Drain any excess fat from the skillet. Add the butter and allow it to melt completely.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and diced onion. Cook for 2-3 minutes until fragrant and the onion is softened.
  4. Add soy sauce and black pepper, mixing everything thoroughly to combine. Let simmer for another 2 minutes.
  5. Divide the cooked rice among four bowls. Spoon the garlic butter beef mixture over the rice.
  6. Garnish each bowl with chopped parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Reheat before serving.
