Ingredients
- 8 ounces linguine pasta
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 pound chicken breast, diced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add the diced chicken. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5 to 7 minutes.
- Stir in the minced garlic, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes. Cook for an additional 1 to 2 minutes.
- Pour in the heavy cream and toss in the grated Parmesan cheese. Stir until smooth and combined.
- Add the cooked linguine to the skillet. Toss gently to combine.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
Notes
For an alternative, you can swap chicken for shrimp or sautéed mushrooms to make it meatless. Adjust the amount of red pepper flakes for desired spice levels.
