Description

A delicious and easy-to-make Cowboy Butter Chicken Linguine that combines buttery goodness, tender chicken, and pasta for a comfort food gourmet experience.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces linguine pasta
  • 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon dried herbs (thyme or oregano)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Toss in the chicken pieces, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6 to 8 minutes.
  5. Stir in the Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and dried herbs. Mix well.
  6. Add the cooked linguine to the skillet, tossing to coat it all in the butter sauce.
  7. Cook for an additional 2 to 3 minutes until everything is heated through.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding Parmesan cheese or red pepper flakes for heat. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
