Description

A stunning dessert combining meringue, whipped cream, and mixed berries, perfect for holiday celebrations.


Ingredients

  • 4 Egg whites
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 2 cups Mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 225°F (107°C).
  2. Whip egg whites until soft peaks form, about 3–5 minutes.
  3. Gradually add sugar while whipping until stiff peaks form, about 5 more minutes.
  4. Spoon meringue onto a lined baking sheet and shape it into a circle. Bake for 1-1.5 hours until crispy. Cool completely.
  5. In a separate bowl, whip cream with vanilla and sugar until soft peaks form.
  6. Break the cooled meringue into pieces. Layer meringue, whipped cream, and mixed berries in a trifle dish. Repeat layers and finish with whipped cream and berries on top.
  7. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

Use room temperature eggs for best results. Chill your mixing bowl for better whipped cream consistency.
