Description

A quick and easy Chicken in White Wine Sauce that delivers maximum flavor with minimal effort, perfect for cozy dinners and special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side; remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Pour in white wine, scraping up browned bits and let simmer for about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and lemon juice, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  4. Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it in the sauce and heat through for another 2 minutes.
  5. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Avoid underseasoning the chicken and skipping the scraping of browned bits for maximum flavor. Use a good quality wine.
