Description

A creamy and cheesy pasta dish featuring chicken, bacon, ranch dressing, and loads of cheese, making it a deliciously easy meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 6 strips bacon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 small boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups uncooked pasta (Rotini recommended)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 2 cups half and half
  • 2 tablespoons dry ranch dressing seasoning mix

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over low heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Set aside and chop into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Slice the chicken breasts and season with salt, pepper, onion powder, and Italian seasoning. Sear in the bacon drippings until golden brown and cooked through, then cube.
  3. Boil salted water and cook pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Stir in flour, then gradually add half and half while whisking. Mix in ranch seasoning and cheese until smooth.
  5. Combine pasta, chicken, and bacon in the sauce. Toss gently and serve warm.

Notes

Feel free to customize with different cheeses or add vegetables like broccoli or spinach.
