Description
Deliciously easy burritos filled with crispy tater tots, seasoned beef, and lots of cheese.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cups frozen tater tots
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded Monterey jack cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup Taco Bell chipotle sauce
- 6 large flour tortilla wraps
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Diced tomatoes (for garnish)
- Chopped green onions (for garnish)
- Cilantro (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Cook the frozen tater tots according to the package instructions until golden and crispy.
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with salt and pepper until no longer pink. Drain excess grease.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked beef, crispy tater tots (slightly crushed), cheddar cheese, and Monterey jack cheese. Mix thoroughly.
- Warm the flour tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave them for 10-15 seconds.
- Spoon filling onto the center of each tortilla, drizzling with chipotle sauce and adding a dollop of sour cream.
- Fold the sides over the filling and roll tightly to form a burrito.
- Place burritos seam side down in a baking dish and sprinkle with additional shredded cheese.
- Bake for 5-7 minutes until cheese melts and bubbles.
- Garnish with diced tomatoes, green onions, and cilantro if desired. Serve hot with extra sour cream and chipotle sauce.
