Ingredients
- All-purpose flour (for dusting)
- 1 pound pizza dough
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Marinara sauce (for dipping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Let the pizza dough sit at room temperature and dust your surface with flour.
- Divide the dough into 10 equal pieces and roll each into an 8-inch long rope.
- Snip each end of the rope about 1 inch deep and gently pull apart to create the bone structure.
- Place the shaped breadsticks on the lined baking sheets, ensuring space for expansion.
- Brush melted butter over each breadstick and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 15 minutes until puffed and light golden.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella on top and return to the oven for another 5-7 minutes, until melted and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving with marinara sauce.
