Description

A hearty and comforting dish that combines ground beef, fluffy rice, creamy mushroom soup, and melted cheddar cheese.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds ground beef
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 1 can (10.75 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned, breaking it up as it cooks, and drain excess fat.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked ground beef, cooked rice, mushroom soup, milk, 1 cup of cheddar cheese, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading evenly.
  5. Top with the remaining ½ cup of shredded cheddar cheese.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes, until hot, bubbly, and golden brown on top.
  7. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For an extra flavor boost, garnish with fresh herbs or serve with salad and crusty bread.
