Description
A hearty and easy-to-make casserole that combines all the flavors of a cheeseburger with crispy French fries and gooey cheese.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 cups frozen French fries
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and onion until the beef is browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- In a greased casserole dish, layer the beef mixture evenly and then add the French fries on top.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes until the fries are golden and the cheese is bubbly.
Notes
For variety, you can substitute ground beef with ground turkey or chicken, and you can use tater tots instead of French fries.
