Description

A quick and flavorful Cajun sausage and rice skillet, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Smoked Sausage, sliced
  • 1 cup Rice
  • 1 cup Bell Peppers, diced
  • 1 tbsp Cajun Seasoning
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 cups Chicken Broth
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil


Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add sliced smoked sausage and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in chopped onion and minced garlic; cook until softened.
  4. Add diced bell peppers and cook for a few more minutes.
  5. Stir in rice and Cajun seasoning, mixing well.
  6. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  7. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for about 20 minutes or until rice is cooked.
