Description

A quick and creamy Cajun-inspired pasta dish that combines bowtie pasta with spiced ground beef and a luscious cream cheese Alfredo sauce.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz bowtie pasta
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add minced garlic and Cajun seasoning, cooking for an additional minute.
  4. Lower the heat and add cream cheese and heavy cream, stirring until the cream cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
  5. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted.
  6. Add the cooked bowtie pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
