Quick and creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta that’s full of flavor and ready in under 30 minutes.
Ingredients
- 8 oz pasta (fettuccine recommended)
- 2 chicken breasts, sliced
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
- 1 cup onions, sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chicken and season with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned and cooked through.
- Add sliced bell peppers and onions to the skillet, and sauté until softened.
- Pour in the heavy cream and stir well. Let it simmer for about 2-3 minutes.
- Toss the cooked pasta in the sauce until evenly coated.
- Serve hot and garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
Avoid skipping the Cajun seasoning and using low-fat cream for best flavor. Leftovers can be reheated and are great for lunch.
