Description

Quick and creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta that’s full of flavor and ready in under 30 minutes.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (fettuccine recommended)
  • 2 chicken breasts, sliced
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 cup onions, sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chicken and season with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned and cooked through.
  3. Add sliced bell peppers and onions to the skillet, and sauté until softened.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and stir well. Let it simmer for about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Toss the cooked pasta in the sauce until evenly coated.
  6. Serve hot and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

Avoid skipping the Cajun seasoning and using low-fat cream for best flavor. Leftovers can be reheated and are great for lunch.
