Description

A delightful twist on the classic Italian bruschetta, this creamy dip is packed with vibrant flavors from fresh tomatoes and basil, making it perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 6.5 oz Alouette Cheese with herbs (or Boursin or other soft cheese spread)
  • ½ cup tomatoes, chopped
  • ¼ cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 2 Tablespoons balsamic vinaigrette glaze or reduction
  • Pita chips, crackers, or thinly sliced baguette for serving

Instructions

  1. Spread the soft cheese evenly over the center of a large plate or small platter, leaving a 1/4 inch empty around the edges for a clean presentation.
  2. Evenly sprinkle and spread the chopped tomatoes over the cheese layer.
  3. Spread the fresh basil on top of the tomatoes.
  4. Drizzle balsamic glaze back and forth over the entire plate, letting it nestle into the ingredients.
  5. Serve with pita chips, spread on thinly sliced baguette, or enjoy with crackers.

Notes

For storage, keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Add basil and balsamic glaze just before serving for the freshest flavor.
