Ingredients
- 4 boneless skinless chicken thighs
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
- Add the chicken thighs to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the mushrooms and garlic. Sauté until the mushrooms are tender.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and mix with the mushrooms and garlic for flavor.
- Cook for an additional 2 minutes, then serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
For added flavor, you can use different types of mushrooms such as cremini or shiitake. If you like heat, add red pepper flakes when sautéing the garlic.
