Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- Cut in the cold butter using a pastry cutter or fork until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in the milk until just combined.
- Gently fold in the blueberries.
- Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and pat it into a rectangle about 1 inch thick.
- Cut into biscuits with a round cutter and place on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
Ensure the butter remains cold for the best texture. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature.
