Fluffy and flaky blueberry biscuits that are easy to make and perfect for brunch or a snack.
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- Cut in the cubed butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in the milk until just combined.
- Gently fold in the blueberries.
- Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead until smooth.
- Roll or pat the dough to about 1-inch thickness and cut into biscuits.
- Place the biscuits on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Store any leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days. These biscuits can also be frozen before baking.
