Description

Delightful cookies that combine the creamy flavor of cheesecake with the texture of a cookie, perfect for sharing.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and unsalted butter together until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add the granulated sugar and beat until light and fluffy. Mix in the egg and vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until just combined.
  5. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  6. Bake for 13–15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Let cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
