Ingredients

  • 6 ounces Egg Noodles
  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • ¼ cup Butter
  • ¼ cup Flour
  • 1 cup Beef Broth
  • 1 ¼ cups Milk
  • ½ teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ cup Sour Cream


Instructions

  1. Boil water in a large pot. Add the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef, breaking it up with a spoon, until fully browned (about 6 to 8 minutes). Drain excess fat.
  3. Melt butter in the same skillet. Whisk in flour for about 2 minutes to create a roux.
  4. Gradually pour in beef broth while whisking to prevent lumps. Whisk until thickened (3 to 4 minutes). Then add milk, stirring until creamy (5 to 7 minutes).
  5. Add garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, and salt, and mix well.
