Description
A quick and delightful Beef Stroganoff that is creamy, beefy, and easy to prepare in under 30 minutes.
Ingredients
- 1 pound beef sirloin, sliced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 cup sour cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked egg noodles or rice for serving
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until the onion is translucent.
- Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until softened.
- Return the beef to the skillet and add the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard. Bring to a simmer.
- Reduce the heat and stir in the sour cream, cooking until heated through. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the beef mixture over cooked egg noodles or rice.
Notes
