Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 2 cups egg noodles
- ½ cup sour cream
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup heavy cream (optional)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- ½ tsp paprika (optional)
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, then drain excess fat.
- Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 3 to 4 minutes. Stir in minced garlic and cook for another minute.
- Stir in the flour, then gradually mix in beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard until well combined.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer, then add egg noodles and cook according to package instructions.
- Remove from heat and stir in sour cream, and heavy cream if using, until creamy. Adjust seasoning with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve hot.
