A creamy and savory beef stroganoff made effortlessly in a crockpot, perfect for busy nights.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef stew meat, cubed
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Brown the beef cubes in a skillet over medium heat for 5 minutes.
  2. Add the chopped onion and garlic to the skillet and cook for another 2 minutes.
  3. Transfer the beef mixture to the crockpot.
  4. Add mushrooms, cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce to the crockpot.
  5. Stir well and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4 hours.
  6. Stir in sour cream during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
  8. Serve over egg noodles or rice.
