Description

A comforting, easy casserole dish combining beef, noodles, and creamy sauce, perfect for busy nights.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cups egg noodles
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and onion until the beef is browned.
  3. Add the mushrooms and cook for another 3 to 4 minutes until softened.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the cooked beef mixture, egg noodles, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and salt and pepper.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish.
  6. Sprinkle the cheese on top if desired.
  7. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until bubbly and heated through.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
