Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 12 oz egg noodles
- 1 and 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella or Swiss cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Nonstick spray for greasing
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- Generously spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray.
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions until just al dente. Drain thoroughly and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with the diced onion. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the minced garlic to the beef mixture and cook for an additional minute.
- Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper. Heat through for 3 to 5 minutes.
- Add the cooked egg noodles to the beef mixture and gently stir until the noodles are fully coated.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- Sprinkle the mozzarella (or Swiss) cheese and Parmesan cheese over the top.
- Place in the preheated oven and bake uncovered for 25 to 30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
