Description

A creamy and comforting casserole that brings together the flavors of classic Beef Stroganoff in a simple one-dish meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook egg noodles according to package instructions, then drain.
  3. Brown ground beef with onion and garlic in a skillet and drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, milk, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  5. Combine cooked noodles with beef mixture and transfer to a greased casserole dish.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For a leaner option, substitute ground turkey or chicken for the beef. Gluten-free noodles and Greek yogurt can also be used.
