A creamy and comforting casserole that brings together the flavors of classic Beef Stroganoff in a simple one-dish meal.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 8 oz egg noodles
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook egg noodles according to package instructions, then drain.
- Brown ground beef with onion and garlic in a skillet and drain excess fat.
- Stir in cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, milk, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Combine cooked noodles with beef mixture and transfer to a greased casserole dish.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For a leaner option, substitute ground turkey or chicken for the beef. Gluten-free noodles and Greek yogurt can also be used.
