Description

A comforting and delicious Beef Stroganoff featuring tender pieces of beef in a savory mushroom sauce over egg noodles.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef sirloin, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cups egg noodles
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking


Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the sliced beef and cook until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté the chopped onion, minced garlic, and sliced mushrooms until tender.
  4. Sprinkle the flour over the mixture and stir to combine.
  5. Gradually add the beef broth, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens.
  6. Reduce the heat and stir in the sour cream. Return the reserved beef back to the skillet.
  7. Cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions.
  8. Serve the Beef Stroganoff over the noodles, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
