Description
A creamy and savory beef stroganoff that’s easy to make, perfect for a satisfying dinner with minimal effort.
Ingredients
- 1 lb beef (such as chuck), cut into strips
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tbsp flour (optional for thickening)
- Egg noodles or rice for serving
Instructions
- In a slow cooker, layer the beef, mushrooms, onion, and garlic.
- Pour in the beef broth and sprinkle with paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Stir to combine, cover, and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or until the beef is tender.
- About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the sour cream. Optionally mix the flour with a little water and add it for thickening.
- Serve over cooked egg noodles or rice.
