A creamy and savory beef stroganoff that’s easy to make, perfect for a satisfying dinner with minimal effort.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef (such as chuck), cut into strips
  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp flour (optional for thickening)
  • Egg noodles or rice for serving

Instructions

  1. In a slow cooker, layer the beef, mushrooms, onion, and garlic.
  2. Pour in the beef broth and sprinkle with paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Stir to combine, cover, and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or until the beef is tender.
  4. About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the sour cream. Optionally mix the flour with a little water and add it for thickening.
  5. Serve over cooked egg noodles or rice.
