Description

A simple and delicious beef stroganoff made in a slow cooker, combining tender beef, creamy sauce, and egg noodles.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef sirloin, cut into thin strips
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup homemade or store-bought condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • Chopped parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. In a slow cooker, combine beef, onion, garlic, mushrooms, cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, and pepper.
  2. Stir well to combine, then cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the beef is tender.
  3. About 30 minutes before serving, cook the egg noodles according to package instructions.
  4. Once noodles are cooked, drain and stir into the beef mixture in the slow cooker.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
