Description
A creamy, hearty beef stroganoff that comes together quickly for a comforting meal.
Ingredients
- 1 lb Beef Sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 cups Mushrooms, sliced
- 1 Onion, chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 cup Beef Broth
- 1 cup Sour Cream
- 2 tbsp Flour
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- Egg Noodles or Rice for serving
Instructions
- Heat olive oil over medium heat in a large skillet. Add onions and garlic, sauté until translucent and fragrant.
- Add beef slices and cook until browned.
- Stir in mushrooms and cook until tender.
- Sprinkle flour over the mixture, stirring to combine.
- Gradually add beef broth while stirring constantly until sauce thickens.
- Remove from heat and stir in sour cream.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve over cooked egg noodles or rice.
Notes
For a healthier twist, substitute sour cream with Greek yogurt and beef broth with vegetable broth.
