Description

A creamy, hearty beef stroganoff that comes together quickly for a comforting meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Beef Sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups Mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Beef Broth
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 2 tbsp Flour
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • Egg Noodles or Rice for serving


Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil over medium heat in a large skillet. Add onions and garlic, sauté until translucent and fragrant.
  2. Add beef slices and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in mushrooms and cook until tender.
  4. Sprinkle flour over the mixture, stirring to combine.
  5. Gradually add beef broth while stirring constantly until sauce thickens.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve over cooked egg noodles or rice.

Notes

For a healthier twist, substitute sour cream with Greek yogurt and beef broth with vegetable broth.
