Ingredients
- 1 pound beef sirloin, cut into strips
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Egg noodles or rice for serving
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat some oil over medium heat. Add the beef strips and cook until browned, then set aside.
- In the same skillet, add onion, mushrooms, and garlic, cooking until softened.
- Sprinkle flour over the vegetables and cook for 1 minute to thicken.
- Gradually pour in beef broth, stirring until the mixture thickens.
- Add Worcestershire sauce and sour cream, stirring to combine.
- Return beef to the skillet and season with salt and pepper.
- Let everything simmer for about 5 minutes until heated through.
- Serve over cooked egg noodles or rice.
