Description

A quick and creamy beef stroganoff with tender beef, mushrooms, and egg noodles that feels fancy but is easy to make.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef sirloin, cut into strips
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • Fresh parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and garlic, sauté until translucent.
  3. Add the beef strips and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in the mushrooms and cook for another 5 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle the flour over the mixture and stir to combine.
  6. Gradually add beef broth, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens.
  7. Reduce heat and stir in sour cream, cooking gently until warmed through.
  8. Season with salt and pepper.
  9. Meanwhile, cook egg noodles according to package instructions.
  10. Serve the beef stroganoff over egg noodles, garnished with fresh parsley.
