Description

A delightful dish featuring juicy chicken, crispy bacon, rich cheese, and a sweet-tangy honey mustard glaze.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 4 slices of bacon
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Monterey Jack)
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. In a small bowl, mix honey and Dijon mustard together.
  4. In a skillet, cook the bacon until crispy, then remove and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, brown the chicken breasts on both sides.
  6. Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish, and pour the honey mustard mixture over the top.
  7. Layer with cooked bacon, shredded cheese, and mushrooms if desired.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked.
