Quick and easy chocolate muffins made in an air fryer with a rich cocoa flavor and moist texture.
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup sugar (or sugar substitute)
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/2 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
- Combine the dry ingredients in a bowl and whisk together.
- Mix the wet ingredients in a separate bowl until combined.
- Pour wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Prepare muffin cups by lining or greasing and divide the batter evenly among them.
- Place muffin cups in the air fryer and cook for 10-12 minutes, checking for doneness.
- Allow muffins to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Store at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate for 5-7 days. Freeze for up to 2 months.
