Delightful and warm Air Fryer Apple Fritters that are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, bursting with apple goodness.
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 2 medium apples, peeled and diced
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat the Air Fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, egg, vanilla extract, and melted butter.
- Combine the wet and dry mixtures gently until just mixed.
- Fold in the diced apples.
- Drop spoonfuls of batter into the air fryer basket and air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving and enjoy!
Notes
For best results, use firm apples like Granny Smith or Honeycrisp and avoid overmixing the batter.
