Description

A quick and comforting casserole featuring ground beef, potatoes, and gooey cheese, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 medium potatoes, sliced
  • 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. In a greased casserole dish, layer the sliced potatoes evenly.
  4. Spread the cooked ground beef over the potatoes.
  5. Pour the condensed cream of mushroom soup over the beef and potatoes.
  6. Top with shredded cheese.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  9. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
