Description

A quick and zesty Lemon Chicken recipe that’s perfect for busy days, bursting with buttery garlic flavor and topped with Parmesan.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Juice of 2 lemons
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Coat each chicken breast with grated Parmesan cheese on both sides.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add chicken to the skillet and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through.
  5. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  6. In the same skillet, melt butter and add minced garlic, sauté for 1 minute.
  7. Add lemon juice and zest, stirring to combine.
  8. Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the top and warming through.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

For extra flavor, feel free to use boneless chicken thighs instead of breasts or substitute with lime juice if lemons are unavailable.
