Description

A quick and easy one-skillet ground beef stroganoff recipe that takes just 30 minutes to prepare, offering a creamy and savory meal.

Ingredients

  • 6 ounces Egg Noodles
  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • ¼ cup Butter
  • ¼ cup Flour
  • 1 cup Beef Broth
  • 1 ¼ cup Milk
  • ½ teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ cup Sour Cream

Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of water to boil. Cook the egg noodles according to package directions. Once cooked, set aside for later.
  2. While the noodles are cooking, heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until fully browned, about 6-8 minutes.
  3. Drain any excess fat and transfer the beef to a plate.
  4. In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the flour and whisk continuously for about 2 minutes to create a roux.
  5. Gradually pour the beef broth into the roux, whisking to avoid lumps. Continue whisking until the sauce thickens, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Slowly whisk in the milk, stirring until the sauce thickens again, about 5-7 minutes.
  7. Stir in the garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt.
  8. Reduce heat to low. Add cooked egg noodles and browned ground beef, stirring until well combined and heated through.
  9. Gently stir in the sour cream until fully incorporated. Serve hot.

Notes

Serve with garlic toast or a side salad for a complete meal.
